Normanby breeding is the home to three breeding programs. Our Lleyn and Hampshire Down Sheep breeding (MV accredited), and our cattle, the Hereford suckler herd. All breeding programs are performance recorded, with a strong emphisis on ease of management, increased production and sustainability. Based in the Lincolnshire Wolds, we have generations of experience farming sheep, cattle and combinable crops. Most of the grazing is permanent pasture in Higher Level Stewardship where the livestock are grazed. We use grass and clover leys in the arable rotation to produce silage to finish cattle and the aftermaths for lamb grazing.
